19+ years of capital market experience and entrepreneurial experience. Headed the research of prime holding from 2008 till 2013 where he managed 11 analysts between Egypt and UAE publishing equity valuation and macroeconomic research on the Egyptian and UAE equity markets.
As a head of research, Mohamed established fully fledged financial models to arrive at the fair value of Egyptian and UAE equities, conducting over 20 initiations and their respective updates.
Moreover, he promoted and conducted road shows in the GCC and London for Egyptian and UAE equities and IPOs such as Talat Mostafa, Amer Group, Maridive, and Juhayna.
Late 2013, Mohamed co-founded Synergy Financial Investment Consultancy with a vision to develop a middle market investment bank catering for small, medium and large corporate investment banking and management needs .
In 2015, Mohamed was head hunted by Allianz Egypt to manage Allianz Life investment portfolio that was previously managed by EFG-Hermes until 2015 , valued at EGP 4 bn invested into fixed income and public equities, mohamed supervised a team of traders, analysts and investment managers and reported directly to Allianz Head of Investment as well as Allianz Investment Group in Munich, Germany. During his tenor at Allianz, mohamed was able to sustain a top rank equity performance for allianz managed portfolios, co-establish the investment department manual, portfolio allocation models and valuation models.
Starting 2019, Mohamed helped Synergy Financial Investment Consultancy in conducting several feasibility studies, business plans and advised on several debt and equity transaction.
On the entrepreneurial side, Mohamed cofounded two business endeavors in the healthcare and educational sector where he cofounded Karma Diabetes clinics and Dome International American Schools. Mohamed was able to successfully exit Karma diabetes clinics 2 years later at an IRR of 28% and continue to hold a minority stake in Dome international Schools and continue to act as the exclusive financial consultant for the school board of directors through Synergy Markets Financial Advisors.
